One nuance worth being clear about: when you use Vox 9's AI narration to turn your text into audio, the audio file itself is generated using Vox 9's ElevenLabs credits (the 100,000/month we cover for you on the free plan). That audio is licensed for distribution on the Vox 9 platform. If you want a master file you can upload to YouTube or sell on Audible, you have two options: record your own narration and upload the MP3 (we treat uploaded audio as fully yours), or re-narrate your text using your own ElevenLabs account.
If you upload your own MP3, you keep full ownership of the audio too — Vox 9 just gets the licence to host and stream it on the platform.
No. Your text and audio are never used to train any AI models — not ours, not ElevenLabs', not OpenAI's, not Anthropic's, not anyone else's. The only AI we use is ElevenLabs for text-to-speech narration of your text, and Whisper to auto-generate captions from uploaded audio. That's purely on the output side — your work isn't fed into any model's training data. We also don't sell your work or any derivatives of it to third parties. Ever.
